Today is going to be an awesome day for me. The docs are letting me take a field trip and go down to the 1st floor (I'm on the 10th floor) for a walk. I'm so excited! Today is the Air & Water Show in Chicago, so I'm hoping to see some planes flying around from my window. There are supposed to be fireworks tonight too.
I got my first shot of Nupogen (sp?) today. So we now just watch my white blood cell count go up from now on.

Don't let anyone breathe on you when you go for your walk on the first floor. Of course, I know that the doctors wouldn't let you go if it wasn't OK--but you know me--I am a total worry wort.

I heard they just remodeled the first floor into a hip-hop cocktail lounge for MS patients.

I know you seemed excited about going for a walk on the first floor, but I hope they didn't make you take the stairs. Going down might not be so bad, but the trip back up would kill me.

I heard some of the Blue Angles guys interviewed on the radio today. That will be awsome to see.

Good for you, Jen! A change of scenery is always a good thing. I hope that you get to enjoy the fireworks. I remember when Matthew was ababy and in the hospital for his surgery over the 4th of July, I watched the fireworks from his hospital room. At least you will be up high enough to see them well.

Keep up the good work girl. Sounds like you are kicking MS' ass, just like I predicted. Sorry I haven't gotten back here to post more often, but just know you are in my thoughts, and in my heart, every moment of every day. We can't wait for you to get back on your feet, and really look forward to seeing you in Columbus for the OSU/UM game in November.
